John Slaten is a construction executive, infrastructure specialist, and entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience leading the development and delivery of complex construction projects across the United States.

Beginning his career in the field at a young age, John built his expertise from the ground up, working on roads, bridges, transportation systems, industrial facilities, commercial developments, data centers, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Through hands-on experience across every level of the construction industry—from laborer and carpenter to superintendent, project manager, project executive, vice president, and ultimately company founder—he developed a comprehensive understanding of project execution, construction management, and operational leadership.

Before founding Slaten Construction, John held senior leadership positions overseeing large and complex projects across multiple sectors, gaining extensive experience in both field operations and executive management. This progression provided him with a unique perspective on every phase of the construction lifecycle, from preconstruction and planning through project delivery and long-term operations.

As Founder and CEO of Slaten Construction, John has overseen the successful delivery of projects spanning commercial, industrial, hospitality, multifamily, data center, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. His experience includes managing complex projects involving significant logistical, engineering, and operational challenges while maintaining a relentless focus on quality, safety, schedule performance, and budget discipline.
